The most widely played standard baccarat format in Malaysia. Pick Banker, Player or Tie — then the dealer handles all the cards according to fixed rules. No strategic decisions required from the player. Suitable for both beginners and seasoned players.
The fastest version of baccarat at genting888 — each round wraps up in just 27 seconds. Cards are revealed instantly with no slow animations, letting you get through more rounds in less time. A firm favourite among players who love fast-paced action and hate waiting.
The most dramatic baccarat experience at genting888. High-stakes players are given the privilege to squeeze (slowly peel back) their own cards to reveal the outcome. An unmatched moment of suspense — each squeeze could reveal winnings of tens of thousands of RM.
Baccarat in a simpler, faster format — each side (Dragon and Tiger) receives just one card, and the higher card wins. Perfect for players who want quick results and a straightforward strategy. Dragon Tiger is the fastest-growing live game in Malaysia.
A popular variant among Asian baccarat players. Genting888 removes the standard 5% commission on Banker — in exchange, if Banker wins with a score of 6, you receive only half the payout. The "Super 6" side bet pays 12× if the Banker wins with exactly a score of 6.
The latest innovation at genting888 — each round, one or two "Lightning" numbers are randomly selected with boosted multipliers (2×, 3×, 4×, or 5×). If your winning hand contains a Lightning number, your payout can be dramatically multiplied. It's an element of surprise you simply won't find in classic baccarat.
Genting888 VIP players from Penang enjoy exclusive baccarat tables with high bet limits and a dedicated dealer.

Based on statistics, the Banker carries the lowest house edge at 1.06% — meaning mathematically, it is the strongest bet in baccarat. That said, keep in mind that every round is an independent event and no strategy guarantees a win. Play smart and enjoy the genting888 live casino experience as entertainment.
Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn, yet it offers enough depth to keep experienced players engaged. Follow these steps to get started.

Go to the "Baccarat" section in the genting888 menu. Select a table based on the bet limits that suit your budget — Standard (RM 5–5,000), Speed (RM 10–10,000), or VIP (RM 100–100,000). You can preview the live table stream before placing any bets.
In baccarat, Aces are worth 1, cards 2–9 are worth their face value, while 10, J, Q, and K are worth 0. The score is calculated using only the last digit of the total — for example, 8 and 7 = 15, but the baccarat score is 5. The highest possible score is 9, known as a Natural.
Choose Banker, Player, or Tie before the betting window closes. You can also place side bets such as Banker Pair or Player Pair. Click on the betting area to place your chips — the genting888 interface is straightforward and intuitive for players of all levels.
The dealer deals two cards each to the Banker and the Player. Under fixed drawing rules, a third card may be dealt to one or both sides. The hand closest to 9 wins, and winnings are automatically credited to your balance.
If you have an unlucky day at the genting888 baccarat tables, a 15% daily casino cashback of up to RM 500 will be credited to your account the following day. This is exceptional value and a genuine safety net for regular baccarat players.

If there is one casino game long synonymous with glamour and sophistication, it is baccarat. From the James Bond films that immortalised baccarat scenes in lavish casinos to the VIP tables at premium resorts, baccarat has always carried a distinct image unlike any other casino game. In Malaysia, baccarat ranks among the most frequently played casino games among local players — and now, genting888 brings that experience directly into your everyday life through a complete and sophisticated live casino platform.
What sets baccarat apart from other casino games is its strategic simplicity. In blackjack, you're constantly making decisions — hit, stand, double down, split. In poker, you need to read opponents, manage chips and know countless hand combinations. Baccarat requires none of that. You simply choose between three options — Banker, Player or Tie — then sit back, watch the dealer handle all the cards, and wait for the result. This simplicity is exactly why baccarat is popular among Malaysian players of all backgrounds.
At genting888, the live baccarat collection on offer is among the most comprehensive in the industry for the Malaysian market. From the standard Baccarat Classic suited to beginners, to Speed Baccarat for time-pressed players, the dramatic and thrilling Squeeze Baccarat VIP, and the fast-paced simplicity of Dragon Tiger — each variant delivers a distinct experience. With over 20 tables running simultaneously 24 hours a day, you'll never have to wait for a seat, unlike at a physical casino.
Speed Baccarat is one of the most popular innovations among genting888 players in Malaysia. With each round completing in just 27 seconds, you can fit in far more rounds per hour than traditional baccarat — meaning more entertainment packed in and more opportunities to win. Cards are revealed instantly without slow animations, delivering faster action without compromising the authenticity of the live casino experience. For players who can't stand waiting around and prefer a high-tempo game, Speed Baccarat at genting888 is the perfect choice.
Squeeze Baccarat is a truly different experience altogether. Rather than flipping the cards immediately, the dealer slowly "squeezes" each card to reveal its value little by little. This squeeze moment is one of the most dramatic in all of live casino — you've placed a big bet, and every millimetre of card revealed carries a tension that words simply can't capture. Genting888 offers an exclusive version where the highest-betting player can perform the squeeze themselves via interactive controls — an experience that truly sets genting888 apart from other platforms.
In terms of strategy, many experienced baccarat players at genting888 advises new players to start by consistently betting on Banker. The reason is straightforward — the house edge on Banker is just 1.06%, compared to 1.24% for Player and 14.36% for Tie. Although a 5% commission is charged on Banker wins, it remains the statistically strongest bet overall. This does not mean Banker always wins — every round is still random — but from a long-term perspective, Banker offers players the best value.
Promotions genting888 is also highly rewarding for baccarat players. The 15% Daily Casino Cashback of up to RM 500 is the most relevant perk — even after an unlucky session at the baccarat table, you still get 15% of your losses back the following day. For regular players, this is significant value that acts as a cushion against bad runs. The 150% welcome bonus for new members also gives you a larger starting bankroll from your very first round at the genting888 baccarat tables.
For those serious about their game and looking to play at a higher level, the VIP Programme genting888 unlocks access to exclusive baccarat tables not available to regular members. The VIP Diamond table supports bet limits of up to RM 100,000 per round, higher cashback rates, a dedicated personal agent, and instant withdrawal privileges. This is the premium tier for serious players who want a world-class casino experience without flying to Macau or Las Vegas.
Baccarat at genting888 is more than just a game — it's an experience that brings together best-in-class live streaming technology, a comprehensive range of variants, rewarding promotions, and responsive customer support, all in one complete platform for Malaysian players. Whether you're a first-timer just getting started or a seasoned baccarat veteran, genting888 has the right table for you.
